Original Deed: The Davenport Tract

The original 1854 patent for the Davenport tract, recorded in Travis County Deed Book 12, page 45. The document describes the bounds of the grant by reference to the Colorado River, "the Old Bee Cave Trail," and the holdings of adjacent settlers — most of which have since been subdivided into the modern neighborhoods of West Lake.
